About Mufasa
Simba’s father, Scar’s older brother, and the former ruler of the Pride Lands is Mufasa. Mufasa taught Simba that former monarchs now resided in the stars and would be there to lead him under challenging circumstances.
Mufasa: The Lion King Description
The Lion King is a 1994 American animated musical drama film created by Walt Disney Feature Animation and published by Walt Disney Pictures. Roger Allers and Rob Minkoff directed it. The film is based on William Shakespeare’s Hamlet and incorporates aspects from the Biblical stories of Joseph and Moses and Disney’s 1942 animated picture Bambi. It is the 32nd Disney animated feature film and the fifth created during the Disney Renaissance. Irene Mecchi, Jonathan Roberts, and Linda Woolverton contributed to its composition. Matthew Broderick, James Earl Jones, Jonathan Taylor Thomas, Nathan Lane, Ernie Sabella, Rowan Atkinson, and Robert Guillaume are the ensemble voice cast members in the movie. Elton John and Tim Rice wrote the songs’ original lyrics, and Hans Zimmer provided the musical score.
